S.M.I.L.E. Formation
Spiritual Motherhood is a 12-month formation series that includes:
- Monthly Online Videos
- Reflection Questions
- Book Recommendations
- Monthly Participation in a Support Group
The twelve talks will be given by various woman ministry leaders who exemplify spiritual motherhood. Hopefully, program participants, by listening, reading, and then pondering these talks, will enter fully into their own spiritual motherhood. Participation in a small sharing group, after individual reflection time, will help each person develop their gifts. Meetings provide a time of encouragement, sharing personal reflections on each topic, and we encourage prayer ministry to one another. To be placed in a group or become a group leader, contact us.
A donation of $45.00 provides individual access to view the 12 videos, the recommended books, and reflection questions. Donations help to cover the administrative costs.

Embracing the Call to Spiritual Motherhood
Carol Marquardt M.A., founder of Spiritual Mothers in Lay Evangelization, introduces Spiritual Motherhood as a way of relating to others within our feminine vocation. In particular, it is a way of answering the call to nurture and nourish people's faith in God by drawing them deeper into the life of the Trinity. Isn't that what our Blessed Mother Mary would do if she were walking the earth today? Taking Mary as our model and conforming our own lives to the will of God, we can become her heart and hands as we say to others we encounter,
"Put your trust in Jesus. He died to change your life."
